Nebula Labs has successfully reached new heights of recognition in the region this week, being shortlisted for no less than four Dynamite ’17 Awards by Dynamo North East, an organisation with vision to grow the North East IT economy, after just two months of operation.

Our founding team is truly honoured to have received such a huge opportunity so early in, with Nebula Labs being shortlisted in the Innovator of the Year, New Business of the Year, and Commercial Project of the Year, and our co-founder and COO Nic Flynn himself being shortlisted in the Rising Star category.

Our innovator of the year and project of the year category nominations were based off of the work that we carried out in partnership with Plan Digital, organisers of Newcastle Startup Week, collaborating to develop the critically acclaimed Newcastle Startup Week Mobile App, with its innovative and unique heat-map feature - which has the potential to transform city-wide event apps of the future.

We’d love to thank Dynamo North East and the folks who nominated us, along with everybody in the region who has given us support in getting this far, including Ignite, Tech for Life, Campus North, Northstar Ventures, the Newcastle University Founderships Programme, and our mentors, friends, family and advisors - thank you. We’re truly stoked for October 19th, and we'd like to wish a massive congratulations to the our fellow shortlistees!
