We worked in partnership with the tourism team at North Tyneside Council who wanted to improve the experience of visitors to the area.

To solve this we:

• Assessed mobility around the borough and how this could be best displayed to tourists from the UK and abroad visiting
• Integrated live car parking data for car parks in the borough
• Used UTMC API published by the North East Combined Authority (NECA) to make this data available
• Made parking data available live to users through a responsive web platform, as part of the wider Visit North Tyneside Destination Management System.
