How can AI help coaches engage with clients more effectively?

We worked with Onexp to extend their existing mobile platform with AI-powered features that help coaches create content and communicate with clients more efficiently.

The platform already supported coach and client interaction, but the next phase required intelligent tools that could speed up content creation and improve engagement.

We developed AI-assisted functionality that included:

  • AI-generated post creation for coaches
  • Intelligent chat response suggestions to support faster client communication
  • Integration directly within the existing iOS and Android applications
  • Hybrid AI architecture balancing local and cloud-based inference depending on device capability
  • Offline-capable AI functionality for supported Apple devices
  • Fast-response AI workflows designed to feel seamless within the app experience

The platform was developed using Swift, Kotlin, AWS and Django.

For iOS users on the latest Apple hardware and operating systems, AI features are powered by Apple Foundation Models, enabling fast, local and privacy-focused offline AI functionality.

For Android users and older mobile devices, the platform uses OpenAI APIs with GPT-5 Mini to provide low-latency and cost-effective AI inference where local models are unavailable.

This hybrid approach allowed Onexp to deliver scalable AI features across a wide range of devices while maintaining performance, accessibility and user experience.
