How can event organisers improve things for visitors?
An existing events listing site needed to adapt to the post-Covid needs of visitors.
We updated the local government events listing we’d previously developed by introducing online booking for events and experiences and partnering with the national Tourism Exchange Great Britain (TXGB) platform.
This features:
- Bespoke API integration between our platform and TXGB
- allowing users to see available times and slots for events and experiences, then book a slot, and be deep-linked into an online payment flow
- CMS controlled to allow the council to decide which experiences to link to TXGB
